Engineering day 2025-26 (Department of AI & Data Science Celebrates Engineer’s Day with Innovation and Enthusiasm)

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Engineering, Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara, celebrated Engineer’s Day 2025 with great energy and technical fervor on 15th September 2025 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary engineer and statesman, Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya. The celebrations were successfully organized by the newly inaugurated Artificial Intelligence Active Student Association (AIASA), marking its first major initiative after the morning inauguration ceremony. Students took complete ownership of the event, showcasing their technical skills, creativity, and teamwork. Event Highlights The program began with a heartfelt tribute to Sir M. Visvesvaraya, highlighting his extraordinary contributions to nation-building through engineering excellence. Students presented innovative mini-projects and technical posters based on real-world applications of AI and Data Science. Exciting technical competitions were conducted, including: – Code Crunch (rapid coding challenge) – Tech Quiz (covering AI, ML, Data Science, and emerging technologies) – Debugging Battle (spot and fix the bug under time pressure) – Idea Pitch (students pitched innovative AI-based solutions to real-life problems) A special “Build It Fast” hands-on activity challenged teams to create working models/prototypes using limited resources in a fixed time. Winners of various competitions were felicitated with prizes and certificates. Students displayed remarkable enthusiasm, leadership, and collaborative spirit throughout the event, reflecting the true essence of engineering — innovation, problem-solving, and perseverance.
