Swachhta Abhiyan Conducted at Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara Satara, 2 October 2024: In observance of Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary, Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara, organized a Swachhta Abhiyan on 2 October 2024, from 10 AM to 1 PM. The cleanliness drive witnessed active participation from the Head of Departments (HODs), faculty members, and a large number of students. The event, in line with the Swachh Bharat Mission, aimed to raise awareness about cleanliness, environmental hygiene, and sustainable living practices. Volunteers from different departments gathered to clean various areas within and around the campus, focusing on waste management and recycling efforts. The HODs and faculty members led by example, working alongside students to ensure the campus environment remained clean and well-maintained. They encouraged students to adopt clean habits in their daily lives and emphasized the importance of contributing to the nation's vision of a cleaner India. The Abhiyan not only helped in maintaining the cleanliness of the campus but also served as a platform to educate the participants on the significance of keeping public spaces clean. The event concluded with a pledge by all attendees to continue their efforts in maintaining a clean and green environment.
