Department of Workshop

The Department boasts well-equipped workshops, including machine, welding, fitting, carpentry, and sheet metal shops, featuring advanced tools like CNC trainers, lathes, grinders, shearing and bending machines, and precision instruments. These facilities provide students with hands-on learning opportunities from their first year, fostering practical skills in machining, fabrication, and design. Machine Shop

The machine shop houses an array of state-of-the-art equipment, including various gear-type lathes, a surface grinder, a milling machine, a capstan lathe, CNC trainers, and other advanced machinery to facilitate hands-on training in machining techniques.

Welding Shop

The welding shop features comprehensive setups for various welding processes such as:

  • Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
  • Metal Inert Gas (MIG) Welding
  • Resistance (Spot) Welding

Fitting Shop

The fitting shop is equipped with a range of hand tools, angle plates, surface plates, drilling machines, bench vises, vise tables, and precision measuring instruments to provide students with expertise in fitting operations.

Carpentry Shop

The carpentry shop includes facilities like wood-turning lathes, circular hand saws, and essential hand tools required for carpentry and pattern-making tasks.

Sheet Metal Shop

The Sheet Metal Shop at Yashoda Technical Campus is equipped with a variety of tools and machines to provide students with hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication and design. Key equipment includes:-Hand Tools, Shearing Machine, Bending Machine, Rolling Machine, Spot Welding Machine.
