Welcome to the Department of Electrical Engineering. The Department has remained academically active and professionally progressive since its establishment in 2011. It currently offers an Undergraduate Program with an intake of more than 100 students.

The Department of Electrical Engineering has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) in the year 2025, reflecting its commitment to quality education, continuous improvement, and adherence to national standards.

Since the inception of the program, consistent efforts have been made towards the holistic development of students through effective teaching learning methodologies, structured training, and industrial exposure. Eight batches of Electrical Engineering graduates have successfully passed out from the institute, with many securing commendable placements in both private and public sector organizations.

The Department is supported by a balanced team of experienced faculty members and young, dynamic academicians. The laboratories are well equipped with modern experimental and computational facilities, including an industry sponsored Laboratory of Industrial Automation established with the support of Square Wave Automation Technologies, Satara. This facility enhances practical learning and provides hands on exposure to contemporary industrial systems.

Industry interaction has been strengthened through sponsored projects and vocational training opportunities provided to students. The Department regularly organizes guest lectures, faculty development programs, workshops, and seminars in specialized domains, facilitating interaction with eminent experts and promoting knowledge exchange. Faculty members actively contribute to research through publications and presentations in reputed national and international journals and conferences.

In addition to academic excellence, students of the Department have demonstrated outstanding performance in co-curricular and extracurricular activities by securing awards at local, state, and national level competitions.
