The Department of Electrical Engineering, Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara, organized an expert lecture on “Generation of High AC & DC Voltages” for Third Year and Final Year Electrical Engineering students on 24 September 2026. The session was delivered by Dr. Prashant Shivajirao Mali, who shared valuable technical insights into various high-voltage generation techniques.The lecture provided students with practical insights and helped them connect theoretical concepts with real-world engineering applications.
The Department of Electrical Engineering organized a Welcome Function for the Second-Year B.Tech. students to warmly welcome them to the new academic year 2026–27. The program was graced by Dr. B. M. Shinde, Dean Academics, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. B. M. Nayak, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering. Faculty members and students were also present on the occasion. The function provided an opportunity to welcome the students, motivate them for the upcoming academic year, and encourage them to actively participate in academic, technical, co-curricular and departmental activities.
The Department of Electrical Engineering, Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara, inaugurated a dedicated Electric Vehicle (EV) Laboratory for M.Tech. students specializing in Electric Vehicles on 15 September 2026, on the occasion of Engineers Day.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Vinayak Godse, CEO, Data Security Council of India, as the Chief Guest. The laboratory was inaugurated in the presence of President Prof. Dr. Dashrath Sagare Sir, Vice President Dr. Ajinkya Sagare Sir, Director Dr. Vikram Patil Sir, Dean Academics Dr. B. M. Shinde Sir, Dean IQAC Dr. N. M. Jamadar Sir, HOD Dr. B. M. Nayak Sir, faculty members, invited guests, and students.
The newly established EV Laboratory is designed to provide hands-on learning, experimentation, simulation, and research facilities for M.Tech. EV students. The laboratory focuses on key areas of electric vehicle technology, including: EV Charging Infrastructure, Battery Technology and Battery Management Systems, EV Powertrain and Motor Control, Electric Vehicle Simulation and Testing, Research and Industry-Oriented Projects
Mr. Shivachandra H. participated in the Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Green Energy and Sustainable Materials: Innovations for a Net-Zero Future,” held from 7 September to 11 September 2026, organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Department of Chemistry, HBTU, Kanpur.
The Electrical Students’ Society Association (ESSA) organized a Teachers’ Day celebration in the Department of Electrical Engineering with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and faculty members. The celebration was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and to acknowledge the valuable contribution of teachers in shaping students' academic and professional journey. The faculty members appreciated the efforts of ESSA and the students for organizing and participating in the celebration.The Teachers’ Day celebration was successfully conducted and provided an opportunity for students and faculty members to come together and celebrate the special occasion.
The Department of Electrical Engineering celebrated Teachers’ Day on 8th September 2026 with an engaging and educational activity in which students took on the role of teachers. As part of the activity, selected students delivered lectures to Second Year (SY) Electrical Engineering students on various topics related to Electrical Engineering. Aditya Beloshe, Aditi Baghwat, Pratiksha Birajdar, and Shivani Sankpal actively participated in the activity by taking on the role of teachers and delivering lectures to SY students.
Department of Electrical Engineering Organizes Industry-Oriented E-PLAN Skill-Based Training Programme
The Department of Electrical Engineering, Yashoda Group of Institutes, Satara, organized an Industry-Oriented Skill-Based Training Programme on E-PLAN Electrical Design Software for Third Year and Final Year Electrical Engineering students from 10 August 2026 to 22 August 2026.
The training programme was conducted in collaboration with SquareWave Automation Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Satara, a professional organisation engaged in industry-oriented training in Industrial Automation and related technologies. The collaboration provided students with valuable exposure to current industrial practices and professional engineering tools.
The programme focused on developing students' practical skills in E-PLAN electrical design software, covering applications such as electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and project documentation. Through hands-on sessions, students gained practical experience in preparing electrical drawings and developing industry-standard design documentation.
Department of Electrical Engineering Organizes AutoCAD Skill-Based Training Programme for SY B.Tech Students
The Department of Electrical Engineering, Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara, is organizing an AutoCAD Skill-Based Training Programme for Second Year B.Tech Electrical Engineering students from 10 August 2026 to 16 August 2026.
The training programme is being conducted in collaboration with OVI Prespectives as the Training Agency. The programme aims to enhance students' practical design skills and improve their industry readiness through hands-on training in AutoCAD, particularly for Electrical Engineering applications.The programme is conducted through offline hands-on sessions from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the CAD/Computer Lab, Yashoda Technical Campus. A Certificate of Participation will be provided to the students upon successful completion of the programme.
Dr. B. M. Nayak has successfully completed tranning on the Emerging Technologies Training Program, organized by the Department of CSE-AI, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune, in collaboration with C-DAC, Pune, held from 3rd to 7th August 2026.
Mr. SHIVACHANDRA HINDINAMANI has successfully completed, ISTE approved one week online faculty development program on, “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Engineering & Technology” organized by Dr. D. Y. Patil Pratishthan's College of Engineering, Salokhenagar, Kolhapur held from 13/07/2026 to 17/07/2026.
Dr. B. M. Nayak has attended One Week Online Faculty Development Program on “Publishing Research Articles” from 06th July to 11th July 2026 organized by Department of Computer Engineering, Dr. Bapuje Salunkhe Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Mr. Sarang Abdagire of Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara, successfully participated in the One Week Online Faculty Development Program on "Publishing Research Articles", conducted from 6 July to 11 July 2026 and organized by the Department of Computer Engineering, Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kolhapur.
Dr. A. M. Bansode has successfully completed the One-Week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on
“Next Generation Sustainable Energy Systems and Industrial Automation” in association with IEEE, Pune

Research, Pune during 6th July to 10th July 2026.
Farewell Function – Batch 2025–26
The Department of Electrical Engineering organized a memorable Farewell Function for the outgoing Batch of 2025–26 to celebrate their academic journey and wish them success in their future endeavors. The program was confidently anchored by Mr. Ganesh Pimpale, who conducted the event smoothly and kept the audience engaged.
Dr. N. M. Jamadar, Head of the Department, addressed the gathering and congratulated the graduating students. He encouraged them to pursue their careers with dedication, professionalism, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
Principal Dr. Vikram Patil delivered an inspiring address, motivating the students to face future challenges with confidence, uphold ethical values, and strive for excellence in their professional and personal lives.
The program also included an experience-sharing session, where the outgoing students expressed their gratitude towards the faculty members, shared memorable moments of their college life, and reflected on the knowledge, friendships, and experiences they gained during their time in the department. The function concluded on a joyful and emotional note, leaving everyone with cherished memories and best wishes for the graduating students.
The Department of Electrical Engineering successfully organised and conducted a Mini Project Competition on 27th November 2025. A total of 26 groups participated in the event. Dr. S. S. Itraj, HOD, ENTC Department, YTC, Satara, and Prof. S. S. Parve, Assistant Professor, Government College of Engineering, Karad, evaluated the students’ performance. Aditya Beloshe and Omkar Jagtap secured the 1st rank in the competition.
The Department organized the Smart India Hackathon on 26th September to promote innovation and problem-solving among students. Teams showcased creative ideas and solutions to real-life challenges.The event was evaluated by the jury members – Dr. Dr. Tarang R. Shinde Sir, HOD Mechanical, and Dr. Abhijit M. Zende Sir, HOD Civil. After evaluation, selected teams were nominated to represent the institute in the next round.
On 15th September, the Department celebrated Engineers’ Day and held a welcome function for Direct Second Year students. Principal Sir, in his address, spoke about the role of engineers in building a better and sustainable future, and encouraged students to focus on innovation and hard work. Student representatives thanked the department for the warm welcome and expressed their excitement for the years ahead. The program ended with a vote of thanks
The Department of Electrical Engineering successfully organized an online session on “Accelerator/Incubation – Opportunities for Early-Stage Entrepreneurs” for all engineering students of Yasoda Technical Campus. The session was enriched by the presence of our esteemed guest, Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh (Operations Head – TATA MOTORS Receiving Project, Mahalaxmi Enterprises), who graciously shared his valuable time, experience, and insights. His expert guidance provided great value to the participants and inspired them to explore the world of entrepreneurship.
Deparment of Electrical Engineering succesfully oragnizes the ISTE approved one week online Faculty Development Program on "Electric Mobility and Renewable Energy for a Sustainable Future" from 28/07/2025 to 01/08/2025. This online Faculty Development Program (FDP) is designed to offer both foundational and advanced knowledge on Electric Vehicle (EV) systems. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically:SDG 3:,Good Health & Well-being, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure, SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals This program seeks to
deliver a rich academic experience through expert presentations and engaging interactive sessions.
