One-week Faculty Development Program in Association with ISTE Faculty Chapter

Department of Civil Engineering organised a FDP on "Sustainable Building Materials & Practices".

As the conventional Building Material sources have certain limitations and limited life span usage.Government of India is also promoting the sustainable materials in order to meet the demands from growing industries as well as urbanization. This FDP aims to discuss different Sustainable Building Materials and their applications in different allied fields. This program will serve as a common platform for those who are working in Building sector to share the knowledge and interact with the participants belonging to academia as well as industries.

Objectives-

1. To explore Advanced Building Materials to be used in Construction field.
2. To study Diversifying usage of new practices in Civil Engineering field.
3. To understand Sustainable Building Materials and their appropriate application in the Construction Industry.
4. To discuss alternatives available in the area of building materials and day to day usage in variuos practices.
